  John is  seasoned and industry leading facilities, construction, architecture & design and real estate expert managing multi-location properties throughout Canada, US and with international exposure.  John's current role is Canadian Facilities and Real Estate Services Director for TD Bank but also had prior roles with other organizations including the University of Western Ontario and Bell Canada Real Estate.

  John is well known in the industry as being one of the Canadian real estate pioneers and award winning innovators. He helped develop the first generation commercial outsourcing model in Canada, first in North America to achieve LEED Existing Building certification,  created TD's ESG strategy which he continues to managed worldwide today, developed the CoreNet Global level 2 ESG course curriculum which he also teaches and he has been a keynote presenter at many real estate conferences throughout North America,  John has been a CoreNet member since 2002 and has both his Masters and Senior Leader of Corporate Real Estate designation (MCR & SLCR).

  John will share his diverse and comprehensive knowledge gained from the retail, commercial and institution sectors in a fun, unique and interactive "CoreNet Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" game show format.  The key areas of conversation will include how to grow and advance your professional and career development goals and tactics to improve your leadership capabilities. 

  This will be followed by a guided tour of TD Terrace, Toronto, showcasing its renowned Biophilic Design. The space features nature-inspired elements, such as natural colors, textures, wooden materials, and other organic accents that fosters a strong connection to nature. Lunch will be served on 46th Floor, in the Stevenston Room (46.D.039).
