How CRE Leaders Are Doing More with Less

The Canadian commercial real estate landscape is undergoing a fundamental transformation. With high interest rates, shifting workplace dynamics, and the "flight to quality" accelerating the obsolescence of older assets, the playbook for managing portfolios is being rewritten in real-time.

Are you effectively balancing immediate cost pressures with the long-term strategic investments required to future-proof your assets?

Join us for an exclusive virtual discussion, where industry leaders will go beyond the surface to dissect the most critical challenges facing the sector today.

    What We’ll Cover:

This session is designed to offer actionable insights on how to maintain value in a tightening market. Our experts will unpack:

    • The Smart Building Shift: How Canadian regulatory environments and climate considerations are reshaping ROI beyond energy savings.
    • Portfolio Strategy: Mitigating stranded assets amidst the widening gap between Class A and B properties.
    • The AI Reality Check: Unlocking operational efficiency while addressing security, scalability, and talent development.
    • Measuring What Matters: Moving past "cost per square foot" to identify performance indicators that prove true value to leadership.
    • Innovative Financing: How to fund innovation when capital is constrained.

    Indigenous Reconciliation

    in Corporate Real Estate

As corporate real estate leaders shape the built environment, we also have a critical role to play in advancing Indigenous Reconciliation across Canada. Join us for a compelling keynote with Cadmus Delorme the former Chief of Cowessess First Nation and a nationally recognized voice on reconciliation, leadership, and economic inclusion.

Through a powerful combination of lived experience and practical insight, Cadmus will explore the responsibility all organizations share in moving from awareness to action. Grounded in the principle that “there can be no reconciliation without truth,” his message challenges leaders to better understand the history we have inherited, and the opportunities we have to shape a more inclusive future.

    Read Cadmus Delorme's bio here.

With a focus on economic reconciliation, this session will highlight how corporate real estate and workplace decision-makers can foster meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities, unlocking long-term value while supporting equitable growth.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how Indigenous and corporate worldviews can coexist to strengthen decision-making, build more resilient organizations, and contribute to a more inclusive real estate industry. The event will conclude with refreshments provided by an Indigenous-owned catering partner, offering attendees the opportunity to support Indigenous entrepreneurship and experience economic reconciliation in practice.
